I’m from Anchorage, AK. I see numerous homeless people on the streets of the city. Seeing them in the snow breaks my heart. I found one individual who seemed desperately in need. I always see her lying under the bridge with an umbrella atop of her. I explained to her Payday’s Angels on the Street initiative and gave her the money. She was incredibly grateful and brought a smile to both our faces.

I went to the store and bought three turkeys for three families. After I got the Angels on the Street money, I got more groceries and put everything in the bag with my wife. I met this lady and explained to her how it works. The lady hugged me and cried. She said thank you because she is a single mother with nothing for her family. I told her I was happy to do this

I was in line at Smith’s with a young couple with children in front of me. The clerk told them their total. She had a look on her face with worry. She asked the clerk if she could take some items off the total. While she was thinking about what to take off, I handed the envelope to her. I explained the meaning of the envelope to her. She was so happy that she hugged
