This year I decided I want to focus on a family with small children. I was grocery shopping over the weekend and observed a family in the store with two small boys. I overheard the children asking for various items and the parents telling them “not this time”. I decided this was the family… I approached them and handed them the envelope and told them “Merry Christmas from Angels on the Street”. They thanked me but did not open it and I didn’t see them again. However as I continued shopping I was imagining them being able to provide a little extra – whether it be for food, housing, utilities, clothing or surprise gifts for those boys.
