My husband and I went to vote, I saw a family go into a second-hand store. When we finished voting and were leaving I asked my husband if he saw the family going into the store and that I should have given them the money. He asked if I wanted to go back and I said yes. I walked in, saw the family, the father was trying to comfort the children while the mom was shopping. I gave her the envelope and said Merry Christmas from Angels on the Street and left. Next thing I know the mom is running out of the store crying, she saw me, ran up to me and hugged me saying “you have no idea what this means to us”. I just hugged her back; it was an amazing experience.
