While scrolling Facebook, I came across a mom asking if anyone had any clothes, shoes, or toys she could regift to her kids for Christmas. Her post was anonymous, but something about it stopped me. I reached out and asked her to message me privately… and thankfully, she did.
We met up this past week, and I was able to give her clothes, shoes, and refurbished toys. When I handed her the $100 provided by Payday through Angels on the Streets and explained what the program was, she became emotional. She shared how overwhelming this season has been and how much it meant to know that complete strangers cared enough to help.
She kept saying she couldn’t believe there are still people out there willing to show up for others with no expectation of anything in return.
As always, my spouse and I added another $100 of our own so she could have a little extra. For groceries, maybe for something small she wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise.
Moments like this are exactly why Angels on the Streets exists. It’s not just about gifts—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and reminding people they’re not alone, especially during the holidays. ❤️🎄
