When I received this year’s angel gift envelope, I did not have anyone in mind to bless yet.  I was talking with a friend who mentioned that she had just been approached by a family whose daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in October to see if she could help with their daughter’s wish to ride a hot air balloon.  

My friend put me in contact with the little one’s father, and come to find out that day was the little one’s 5th birthday!  I felt like the universe was moving in its mysterious ways and telling me this was the family meant for my angel gift.  When I met with her dad to give them the gift and tell him about Angels on the Streets, he told me how much it would help on their trip to the hospital in Denver.  I was glad to be able to help lift even a small part of the burden they’re carrying right now.
