We’ve recently moved to Albuquerque from Richmond, VA leaving behind my step daughter who is putting herself through college in Savanah, GA.  For the past few years, she has spent the winter break with myself and her mother which we have thoroughly enjoyed our time together.   We try to talk once a week to catch up on life and school, and recently we shared how lonely the holidays will be as we won’t be together.
